The 17th session of the National Consensus Dialogue was held at Isa Cultural Centre on May 15
At the beginning of the session, the National Democratic Opposition Societies highlighted the following:
- - They approved the first and second pages of the minutes of the last session, but opposed the paragraph on the sixth point related to equal representation in the Dialogue as mentioned in the document presented by them on January 28 about not reaching consensus. The societies said the point wasn't discussed thoroughly and insisted on continuing with its discussion as a point on which no consensus had been reached yet.

The Spokesperson of the National Consensus Dialogue, Mr Isa AbdulRahman, has said that at the 17th session of the dialogue, to be held on at the Isa Cultural Centre on May 15, "Principles and Values" will be re-discussed, in accordance with the agreed agenda, in relation to the explanations put forward by the National Democratic Opposition Societies as follows:
